Job Function :
- Ability to perform blood draws from veins using various techniques as needed
- Enter patient, specimen, insurance, or billing information into computer
- Explain procedure to patients
- Dispose of any contaminated needles or other biohazard fluids or tissue in accordance to policy and procedure
- Organize and clean blood-drawing trays to ensure all instruments are sterile
- Process blood or other samples for further analysis as requested
