Job Summary Responsible for providing White Cap critical communications and administrative support to support the education and engagement of internal and external audiences on behalf of a fast-growing organization. Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities Supports companywide campaigns and processes, provides support for companywide events including but not limited to, organizational announcements, town hall presentations, and weekly newsletters. Partners with internal stakeholders to support the development and execution of communications plans for internal audiences focused on process-based and technical communications that including, but not limited to, IT, Finance, Operations, and Integration activities. Executes thoughtful communications plans to support a growing business. Manages a variety of administrative activities including, but not limited to, the timing and distribution of communication channels and the maintenance of internal and external company resources and documentation. Provides support in researching, proofreading, editing and ensuring the highest levels of quality across all communication. Fosters strong relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication before, during, and after key launches and campaigns, supporting teammate’s feelings of engagement, pride and value within the organization. Monitors trends in the corporate communications space to support continuous improvement. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required. Nature and Scope Demonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data. Nature of work requires increasing independence; receives guidance only on unusual, complex problems or issues. Work review typically involves periodic review of output by a supervisor and/or direct customers of the process. May provide general guidance/direction to or train junior level support or professional personnel. Work Environment Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time. Education and Experience Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally, 2-3 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 1-2 years of experience in a related field. Certification is required in some areas. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field. At least two years’ experience in a corporate communications environment. Understanding of corporate communication at a large-scale organization (5,000 employees). Outstanding writing and editing skills for different formats, including but not limited to email announcements, press releases, and video scripts. Strong collaborator who enjoys working with a cohesive team. Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Understands nuance and knows how to navigate consistent change within a large organization. Ability to shift quickly between content development and administrative execution and enjoys working cross-functionally. This is a hybrid position. Eligible candidates residing in the greater Atlanta area will be asked to work two days a week in our Doraville, GA Field Support Center.
