What are the responsibilities and job description for the Horizontal Directional Drill Operator position at WCC Cable, Inc.?

- Only experienced operators in horizontal directional drilling should apply
- Coordinates and supervises all aspects of various projects
- Strong knowledge of underground utilities
- Ensures all crews observe safety practices during their workday
- Experience working from blueprints and specifications
- Self-motivated, safety, quality, and production-minded
- Valid driving record.
- Perform site surveys for estimates, proposal preparation, & quality assurance
- You must be able to lift, push, and pull heavy weights of more than 50 pounds.
- You must be able to walk up or down hilly terrain and work outside in all weather elements.
- You may be required to stand for several hours at a time without rest.
- Ability to work overtime and nights as needed.
- 5 years' experience in construction, preferably in the utility industry
- 2 years' experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the construction industry
- Excavator and heavy equipment operator experience
