JOB DESCRIPTION
RESTORATION TECHNICIAN
Status: Seasonal – 20 hours per week for 14 weeks (SEPTEMBER through NOVEMBER)
Reports To: Stewardship Manager
Starting Salary: $13.25/hr. (Flexible Scheduling Available)
Classification: Regular - Employee does not routinely have supervisory responsibilities.
The position of Seasonal Restoration Technician directly involves but is not limited to the following duties:
1. Assists with the development and implementation of land management projects, stewardship programs, and special events. Must be able to work well with groups of all ages and abilities.
2. Assists with the collection, cleaning, propagation, and planting of native seed species.
3. Operates a variety of equipment, including but not limited to the following: power tools such as saws, drills, table saw, router, chain saws, and weed eaters; heavy equipment such as tractors, mowers, trailers, and chippers.
4. Assists Park visitors and volunteers when needed. Must be courteous and helpful at all times.
5. Must be able to routinely lift 50 pounds.
6. Works flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays when assigned.
7. Performs other duties as assigned by the stewardship manager that are deemed appropriate and necessary for the position.
8. Must be team oriented and willing to work to build an atmosphere of teamwork in the workplace with staff at all levels.
Requirements:
Must be at least 17 years of age, possess a valid driver’s license, and have good verbal communication skills.

Pay: $13.25 per hour
