Job Title: Cook/Kitchen

Objective:

• The Cooks/Kitchen Helper Position is responsible for assisting in the serving and preparation of food. In addition, maintaining good housekeeping in the kitchen and dining areas

Essential Functions:

• Knowledgeable in proper cooked and uncooked food temperatures
• Knowledge of all safety guidelines in kitchen
• Cleans and checks service equipment
• Able to identify and safely use all kitchen equipment.
• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Cleans and maintains kitchen facilities
• Assists in moving and storing supplies

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to have a highly motivated and energetic personality.
• Working Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment.

Position Type: Full-time/ Part time

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to carry 25-50 lbs.
• Able to stand for multiple hours.

Education and Experience:

• Food Handler Card

Must be able to pass a drug and background check.
