What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regulatory Specialist (Administrative) position at WBI Energy?
Responsible for providing assistance to department staff and management in the control, processing and administration of documents and records used to maintain information that has originated or been received through the Company’s Regulatory activities. Responsible for placing safety as #1 priority in day-to-day work routine for self and others.
This position will focus on administrative activities to support the regulatory functions of WBI Energy Transmission.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must possess a working knowledge of business principles and theory normally acquired through completion of a two-year degree in business related studies or equivalent work experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Natural gas industry experience preferred.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs and data from cyber-attack, damage or unauthorized access.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, no sponsorships considered.
- Required to maintain a valid driver’s license.
- May be subject to the Company’s DOT Substance Abuse Testing Program.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and file with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) tariff and other filings utilizing specialized tariff software and the FERC’s filing procedures. Distribute filings electronically to applicable parties. Coordinate and perform the printing, assembly and distribution of courtesy hard copies of filings as necessary.
- Maintain official tariff records; ensure timely internal transfer of accepted tariff changes and to appropriate electronic communication mechanisms.
- Maintain department documents and records electronically and hard copy as necessary.
- Prepare and distribute periodic reports.
- Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
Offers typically made between $22.29 - $27.87 per hour
