Responsibilities:
- Design and implement backend services using Kotlin and gRPC for a sophisticated grid planning tool
- Build complex data pipelines and ingestion systems to handle diverse data sources
- Develop and maintain PostgreSQL database schemas and queries for optimal performance
- Create and execute comprehensive test suites to ensure code quality and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced research and development environment
- Participate in rapid prototyping and iterative development cycles to quickly validate concept
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin with experience building production-grade backend services
- Experience with gRPC, protocol buffers, and API design for distributed systems
