EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor s degree in computer science or related field; and
10 years professional working experience with MSSQL/MongoDB/MySQL Database Administrator.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Build, Upgrade, Patch, migrate and maintenance activities for MSSQL, Mongo, MySQL-RDS, Postgres DB
Configure and work on DR related activities.
DB jobs failure tracking and fixes
Able to handle several assignments simultaneously
Able to manage and work independently
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
ITIL and Certification in MSSQL/MongoDB/MySQL and AWS is an advantage
REQUIRED SKILLS
Installation, upgrade and patching of Mongo and MySql-RDS
Hands-on experience in implementing MSSQL and able to handle switchover and failover activities
Core knowledge in Always On, Log shipping and Replication of MSSQL databases.
Knowledge on provision MSSQL, MySQL, Postgres and MongoDB instances
Expertise on Cloud (AWS) and RDS
Ability to handle databases which have more than 3TB of size.
Solid knowledge of Windows, Linux OS commands
