District Manager

Reports to:   Director of Operations

Position Summary: Plan, direct, and supervise all aspects of assigned District to include operations, product movement, and human resources within our retail stores.

General Responsibilities:

·    Demonstrate leadership and professionalism in all company activities

·    Execute Strategic Objectives to meet company profitability goals and initiatives

·    Monitor/ Assess individual, team, and organization performance

·    Participate in Management Meetings

·    Facilitate team building opportunities

·    Encourage personal and family health and wellness

Job Responsibilities:

·    Plan, implement and oversee daily operations of multi store locations.

·    Collaborate with the buying / marketing teams to execute product and promotional activities for assigned stores. 

·    Manage product movement through merchandising skills, and working directly with the buyers to order great products for our customers.

·    Analyze reports to maximize store opportunities, and prepare reports for the Corporate Office.

·    Establish and maintain effective business relationships with our customers, suppliers, and other business resources.

·    Supervise store personnel to ensure optimum performance and those standards are exceeded, to include but not limited to Hiring, Training, and conduct Performance Evaluations for store employees.

·    Assist with HR initiatives / TABC, Licenses and Permitting issues that may develop

·    Manage special projects as assigned

Experience & Requirements:

·    Minimum of 4-6 years Management experience

·    Minimum of 2-4 years Retail experience

·    Business Degree (Preferred)

·    Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills

·    Must be reliable, have high personal integrity, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

·    Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

·    Able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds

·    Travel required up to 75%
