Position Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team at our Delano Clinic. This person will be committed to deliver exceptional care and creating a positive experience for our young patients and their families.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct pediatric medical assisting duties, including rooming patients, taking vital signs, and assisting physicians during examinations.
- Perform laboratory tasks, ensuring accurate specimen collection, processing, and documentation.
- Utilize phlebotomy skills for blood draws and specimen collection from pediatric patients.
- Limited Scope X-ray Operator is preferred; the ability to perform basic X-ray procedures is a significant advantage.
- Willingness to travel to other clinic locations as needed.
- Availability for evening and weekend hours to accommodate patient needs.
Qualifications:
- Highschool diploma or GED.
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program, LPN, or current Medical Assistant certification (AAMA or AMT). Similar qualifications may be considered.
- BLS/CPR certification.
- Proficient in phlebotomy techniques and laboratory procedures with the pediatric population.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Schedule:
- 4-day work week (one day off during the week), 7:45 am - 5:00 p.m.
- Sunday (twice a month), 8:45 am - 12:00 pm
