We are currently seeking a Structural Engineering Intern to support the Buildings Engineering Group in our Dallas, TX office.
The Structural Engineering Intern will collaborate with and be mentored by top Engineering associates on our team. The selected candidate will work with associates assisting the Buildings Engineering Group on a variety of projects in the aviation, commercial, health, science and federal market sectors. This is an amazing opportunity to gain hands on experience and a better understanding of the Buildings Engineering, Structural Engineering and the Construction Industry.

The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Structural Engineering Intern to support the Buildings Engineering Group in our Dallas, TX office.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine calculations requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles
- Prepare and revise construction documents including plans and details
- Collect and prepare data for evaluation
- Perform engineering with the use of computer-assisted engineering software
- Provide support to engineering and project management associates
- Current student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or other related specialization from an ABET -accredited program
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong work ethic aligning with the company’s mission and core values
- 3.0 GPA or above
- Prior internship or related experience
- AutoCAD and/or Revit experience
- Experience or exposure to building plans preparation and design standards
- Specific interest Structural Engineering and Building Design
