- Own a small portfolio of products for all production planning and scheduling processes.
- Be responsible for capacity planning, master production scheduling, and detailed scheduling for the assigned portfolio.
- Maintain detailed scheduling for multiple value streams.
- Drive inventory adherence to entitlement targets in both raw material and finished goods.
- Become a critical, relied-upon member of the manufacturing value stream team.
- Operate in a dependable, self-sufficient manner among a team of production planners.
- Develop and run functional reports for the production planning department.
- Participate in a monthly forum with site leadership, presenting on supply challenges posed by complexities in the supply chain for the assigned portfolio.
- Connect with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and distribution colleagues to ensure customer service targets are met.
- Communicate broadly, both within site to all levels (wage employees through site manager) and external to site (other internal J&J plants as well as suppliers).
- Provide updates to domestic and international partners and markets on supply projections.
- Lead activities for a network of co-ops at the local Warsaw, Indiana facility.
- Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a Science degree.
- Candidates must be available to work full-time beginning at 7:00 am M-F.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H1-B status) now or in the future.
- Demonstrated leadership is preferred.
- Candidates must be detail-oriented, highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Candidates must have the ability to work individually (independently), with minimal supervision. Demonstrated dependability and proactive natures are strongly preferred.
- Candidates need to be proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel (including a high proficiency with using formulas, generating pivot tables and graphs, and macros), and Power Point, and have strong oral and written communication skills. Additional technical competencies in SharePoint, Tableau, SAP, or other information technology systems are highly desirable.
- A minimum G.P.A. of 3.2 is required.
- Participation in campus/community service activities is desired.
