Our Business Tax Services (BTS) group focuses on the critical impact of tax on business and personal ambitions, going beyond obligations to uncover opportunities and manage risks. We cater to a diverse clientele, including privately held and family-owned businesses, individuals, family offices, public corporations, and tax-exempt organizations, leveraging our industry expertise and global insights to help our clients navigate today's economy and shape a lasting legacy. Your Key Responsibilities When you join EY's Transaction Economics Group, you’ll analyze structured financial transactions across diverse industries, employing your expertise in economics and finance. You'll work closely with clients and EY teams, using advanced modeling techniques for financial and economic analysis. Your role involves creating financial models, researching market trends, and enhancing your understanding of tax policies and their business implications. Your responsibilities will include:

• Develop financial models and tools to support client transactions such as asset acquisitions, dispositions, and corporate reorganizations.
• Use corporate finance principles to evaluate the economic impact of deal structures.
• Create reports and presentations for clients.
• Participate in all transaction stages, from evaluating options to deal closure, and compile related documentation. Skills and attributes for success
  
  

- To qualify for the role, you must have

• A predicted undergraduate or graduate degree with a concentration in Finance, Financial Engineering, or a related field; supported by a strong academic record.
• Proficient with MS Office, including MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated writing, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary. In certain circumstances, travel may be required beyond your work location based on client and project needs.
• Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites. A driver’s license is strongly recommended as ride share and public transportation options may not be available in all locations. Ideally, you will have
• Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines.
• Programing skills (VB and/or Matlab), and familiarity with other financial software packages.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg data terminals and other market research tools and exposure to fixed income analytics and option pricing models are a plus.

• The hourly pay range for this job, in the US, is $36.06 – $45.19 per hour.
  
  

Individual salaries are based on education, geographic location, and alignment to the market data.
