- _About this business area:_ Our Communications Analytics & Insights team helps CVS Health tell smarter stories by using data to guide strategy and demonstrate impact. We support communicators and leaders across the enterprise with tools, expertise, and best practices that make communications more effective, efficient, and aligned with company goals. Interns on this team will explore the exciting intersection of communications and analytics. You’ll learn how to measure the reach and effectiveness of messaging, track engagement, and uncover insights that shape future strategies. Expect to assist with building and maintaining dashboards, analyzing performance metrics, and contributing to reports that show the real-world value of communications. You’ll also collaborate with colleagues across business units, gaining exposure to enterprise-wide initiatives and learning how data drives decision-making at scale. This internship is ideal for curious, detail-oriented individuals who want to develop skills in strategic thinking and data storytelling.
- Assisting with the collection and analysis of communications performance data
- Supporting the development of dashboards and reports that track message reach, engagement, and impact
- Collaborating with team members to identify trends and insights that inform strategy
- Helping standardize measurement workflows and documentation
- Participating in cross-functional meetings to understand business needs and share findings
- Contributing to the creation of KPIs and metrics aligned with enterprise goals
- Researching best practices and emerging tools in communications analytics _Required Qualifications_
- Meet educational requirements (see education section)
- Have a willingness to commute or relocate to the Woonsocket, RI office
- A demonstrated interest in communications measurement, analytics or data-driven strategy
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data presentation and reporting
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Interest in continuous improvement and learning new measurement methodologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment _Preferred Qualifications_
- Demonstrated leadership experience. Examples include active roles in student or social organization activities, sports, or school or work-related projects
- Familiarity with the analytics platform Adobe Analytics
- Experience with Microsoft collaborative tools like SharePoint and Teams
- Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis
- Basic knowledge of AI-powered productivity platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, WriterAI , or similar tools used for data analysis, content generation, or workflow automation
- Prior internship or coursework in communications, business analytics, or other related fields
- Ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable insights _Education:_
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree
- Have an anticipated graduation date between September 2026 and August 2027
- Have a major, minor or concentration relevant to the position such as Communications, Business Analytics, Data Science, Marketing or a related field with a strong emphasis on data and strategy Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is:
