As a Flight Software Intern, you’ll create the software that makes our satellites function in orbit. We are looking for software interns that can write (and test!) robust embedded C/C . Your code will run on our custom avionics, process signals from sensors like our star trackers, and command actuators like the propulsion system.

Over the course of our 10-12 week internship experience you will have the opportunity to:

• Implement designs in C/C , integrate software components, create and run unit tests, validate on Hardware-in-the-Loop and release real-time embedded solutions
• Assist with system verification and qualification, assessing the outputs and documenting the results to ensure software products that meet system requirements and mission-critical standards
• Work with hardware engineers to verify hardware-hardware and hardware-software interfaces
• Perform code reviews to ensure the software being developed is functionally correct, efficient, and meets our coding standards
  
  

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

• Ability to work full-time for 10-12 weeks during Summer 2026
• Pursuing bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar with focus on software development
• Experience in C and C programming
• Experience with Linux in an embedded environment and/or bare metal C on a microcontroller
• Enrolled student attending a college or university with an expected graduation date on or after August 2026
  
  

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Strong academic performance (preferred GPA of 3.0 or above)
• Exceptional organizational and collaboration skills as demonstrated through leadership positions on teams and/or in student or civic organizations
• Strong technical experiences as demonstrated through technical projects, research or engineering internships
• Exceptional communication skills and interest and enthusiasm related to engineering, aerospace and a career with Boeing
• Junior or Senior class standing
