Your Role
Join Aptiv's Advanced Safety & User Experience team as a Systems Engineering Intern, where you'll contribute to groundbreaking technologies that are shaping the future of automotive safety and user interaction. As a key member of this team, you’ll work on projects that enhance driver safety, improve the user experience, and innovate vehicle interaction systems.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to design, develop, and validate advanced safety systems like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and automated driving features.
- Support the integration and testing of user experience technologies, including in-car displays, haptic feedback, and human-machine interfaces.
- Analyze system requirements and specifications, ensuring alignment with both customer needs and industry standards.
- Contribute to the development of functional safety solutions, including failure mode analysis and system validation testing.
- Assist in the design of simulation models for system performance analysis and improvement.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for future vehicle systems, providing fresh perspectives and technical input.
- Present your findings and project progress to senior engineers and stakeholders.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for cutting-edge technology.
- Basic knowledge of embedded systems, control systems, or user interface design.
- Familiarity with automotive systems or experience with ADAS technologies is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- A proactive attitude, with the ability to take initiative and drive projects forward.
