Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine pairings, spirits, and menu options based on guest preferences
- Handle guest inquiries or concerns professionally to ensure a positive dining experience
- Support team members in maintaining a smooth flow of service during busy hours
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is advantageous
- Experience with cocktail mixing, wine knowledge, spirits handling, and beverage service is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with guests
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is desirable
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for processing transactions and making change
- Prior roles may include server, cocktail server, host/hostess, busser, cashier or related hospitality positions

Pay: $7.25 - $10.00 per hour
