Job Overview
As a Front of House Manager, you will be the vibrant heartbeat of our establishment, ensuring that every guest experiences exceptional service from the moment they walk through our doors. You’ll oversee daily operations, manage staff, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere that keeps our guests coming back for more!
What you’ll do
- Lead and motivate front of house staff to provide top-notch customer service and create memorable dining experiences.
- Manage daily operations including scheduling, shift management, and staff training to ensure smooth service flow.
- Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate transactions using POS systems such as Aloha and Micros.
- Maintain inventory control and assist in food production planning to meet guest demands efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations while promoting best practices in food handling.
- Collaborate with kitchen management to coordinate service timing and menu execution for both casual dining and fine dining experiences.
- Conduct interviews and support the hiring process to build a strong, skilled team committed to excellence.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective communication, training & development initiatives, and team-building activities.
Experience
- Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality management with a focus on front of house operations.
- Strong background in customer service with an emphasis on creating exceptional guest experiences.
- Experience with food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management in various dining settings including quick service, casual dining, and fine dining establishments.
- Familiarity with cash handling processes and experience using POS systems (Aloha POS or Micros POS preferred).
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in team management, training & development, and supervising staff in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of budgeting principles related to food service management is a plus.
- Previous experience in banquet services or catering is advantageous but not required.
