Waypoint’s customer is seeking a Senior Logistics and Milestone Documentation Specialist to support lifecycle development, analysis, and release documentation across major acquisition programs. The selected candidate will oversee milestone deliverables, review and produce execution artifacts, and provide strategic advisory support to Logistics Management Directorate leadership. This role requires deep experience in lifecycle sustainment planning, documentation development, logistics analysis, and senior-level program support within the DoD environment.
Responsibilities:

• Lead the development, preparation, and execution of milestone documentation including LCSP, Type Classification, Materiel Release, Core Logistics Analysis (CLA), Depot Source of Repair Analysis, Materiel Fielding Plans, and related sustainment products.
• Serve as senior reviewer for Milestone and Logistics Management Directorate documentation, including SOPs, prior to signature or concurrence.
• Function as a logistics advisor to Directorate leadership, presenting information, recommendations, and insight on strategic logistics initiatives and sustainment-related decisions.
• Ensure documentation accuracy, compliance with policy, and alignment with lifecycle logistics and sustainment requirements.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience with a Master’s degree in Logistics or Systems Management, or 18 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
• U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one

• Certifications such as Certified Professional Logistician (CPL), PMP, or DAWIA Level III in Life Cycle Logistics.
• Familiarity with Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP) development and execution processes.
• Ability to perform within a fast-paced, dynamic, evolving environment.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables concurrently.
