We are seeking experienced Mid-Level Operations Managers to oversee and enhance daily operational performance in support of mission-focused objectives. Candidates will play a key role in improving efficiency, ensuring adherence to standards, and supporting long-term strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily operations with a focus on improving performance and achieving strategic goals.
- Analyze existing workflows to identify improvement areas and recommend efficiency and productivity enhancements.
- Develop and implement quality assurance programs, monitor processes or service quality, and ensure compliance with established standards.
- Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to improve team effectiveness and engagement.
- Support the development and execution of long-term operational strategies aligned with broader OUSD(R&E) objectives.
- Establish and track KPIs, analyze operational data, and generate reports for senior leadership.
- Identify potential operational risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
- Bachelor’s degree in management or technical discipline (e.g., Science, Mathematics, Engineering).
- Four (4) years of specialized experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
- Three (3) years of experience as an Operations Manager.
- Advanced program management education or certification preferred.
- Active TS/SCI eligibility.
