Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive exterior washing, including vehicle exterior cleaning using appropriate equipment and techniques to achieve a spotless finish.
- Conduct vehicle interior detailing by vacuuming, wiping surfaces, cleaning windows, and ensuring all interior components are spotless and well-maintained.
- Utilize automotive buffers and polishing tools to perform paint correction, buffing, and finishing touches that restore vehicle luster and shine.
- Safely operate standard passenger cars with manual transmissions, ensuring proper handling during all detailing procedures.
- Follow safe work practices at all times, including proper use of cleaning equipment and handling heavy lifting tasks to prevent injury.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the auto detailing facility by organizing tools, cleaning equipment regularly, and adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist with vehicle inspection processes to ensure quality standards are met before vehicles are returned to customers or prepared for sale.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in auto detailing or auto wash facilities is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of vehicle paint correction techniques and automotive buffing is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling equipment or moving vehicles.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment, automotive buffers, and custodial practices within an auto detailing environment.
