Job Description
We are seeking Paraprofessionals for the Waypoint Academy, a Collaborative public day school in South Yarmouth. Experience with students with disabilities and / or behavioral challenges is preferred.
The Collaborative supports students with significant learning challenges by supporting student strengths and building independence.
Waypoint Academy in South Yarmouth is an alternative education setting supporting middle and high school students with behavior, social and learning challenges.
Performance Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Work with students on academics, social skills, life skills, activities of daily living, and vocational tasks
- Ability to work in a team format
- Ability to physically handle interventions with students and / or lifting, students with significant needs
- Ability to work with students with behavioral challenges
- Demonstration of positive communication skills

Salary: Commensurate with experience
