Job Overview:
We are seeking a caring, dependable, and passionate Infant Teacher to join our team. This individual will be responsible for providing a safe, responsive, and stimulating environment for infants (ages 6 weeks to 12 months), supporting their developmental milestones, and building strong partnerships with families.
Duties:
- Provide attentive, responsive care to meet each infant’s individual needs
- Create and implement developmentally appropriate activities that support cognitive, physical, and social-emotional growth
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
- Follow all licensing regulations and health/safety guidelines
- Communicate daily with families regarding their child’s care, routines, and development
- Maintain accurate records (observations, feeding, diapering, sleeping, etc.)
- Work collaboratively with team members and administration
Requirements:
- Previous experience in childcare, babysitting, or early learning teaching
- Ability to educate and engage young children effectively
- Strong communication skills to interact with children, families, and colleagues
- A CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred but not required.
