Job Summary The Egg Pick-Up Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of egg collection, ensuring that eggs are collected, handled, and transported in accordance with company standards and quality guidelines. Job Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the egg pick-up team, ensuring timely collection and transportation of eggs. Assign work schedules, monitor employee performance, and ensure adherence to production standards and safety protocols. Ensure that all equipment used in egg collection and transportation is properly maintained and operational. Implement and enforce biosecurity measures, ensuring that all employees comply with company and industry standards. Monitor egg quality, handle any deviations from quality standards, and take corrective actions as needed. Train and develop team members, providing guidance on processes, safety, and equipment usage. Maintain accurate records of egg collection, transportation, and inventory. Collaborate with other supervisors and managers to optimize production efficiency and address operational challenges. Handle employee issues, including attendance, performance management, and conflict resolution. Ensure compliance with company policies, animal welfare standards, and regulatory requirements. Required Skills and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in agricultural production or logistics preferred. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in poultry operations, egg production, or agricultural supervision. Strong understanding of egg collection processes, biosecurity protocols, and quality standards. Experience in supervising teams, managing schedules, and ensuring operational efficiency. Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills. Effective communication and leadership abilities. Ability to work in physically demanding environments and flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays. Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting. WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to typical risks of injury in an office environment.
