Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position for a Loan Officer located at our Westland, MI office. The Loan Officer will manage loan applications, guide members through the loan origination process, assess financial information to determine eligibility, and ensure compliance with underwriting standards, ultimately seeing the loan through the entire cycle as well as closing. Additional responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service, explaining loan options, and maintaining detailed records of transactions and communications with members.
Qualifications
- Experience and expertise in Loan Origination and Underwriting processes
- Strong knowledge of finance and lending principles
- Proficiency in supporting customer needs and delivering exceptional Customer Service
- Background in Loan Officer roles or similar positions
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance guidelines
- Proficiency with loan and banking software as well as relevant financial tools is a must
