This is a full-time on-site role for a Special Education Math Teacher, located in Oradell, NJ. The Special Education Math Teacher will be responsible for developing and delivering effective math instruction to students with diverse learning needs. Day-to-day tasks include preparing lesson plans, assessing student progress, tailoring instruction to individual educational plans (IEPs), and collaborating with other educators, parents, and support staff to ensure that each student achieves their full potential.
- Experience in Special Education and Math instruction
- Knowledge of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and ability to implement them effectively
- Strong classroom management and differentiation skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for teaching and supporting diverse learning needs
- State certification in Special Education and Mathematics
- Master’s degree in Education or a related field is a plus
