The Garrett lab in the Department of Pharmacology at Wayne State University is looking for motivated early-stage scientists to join the lab in the position of Research Assistant. A bachelor’s degree with a strong science background is required.
Role
· Investigate neural circuit formation in the retina using mouse genetics.
· Learn and perform techniques including tissue dissection, immunofluorescence, microscopy, and general molecular biology.
· Perform mouse genotyping and colony maintenance.
