Tub Room Associate-1st Shift

SHIFT DETAILS:

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 5:45 A.M. – 3:00 P.M. Wednesday: 7:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M.
• Pay Rate-$18.75

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Primarily responsible for sanitizing tubs, vats and combos in accordance with USDA standards. Performs all work in compliance with company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:

• Under general supervision, clean tubs/vats/combos with hot water from high pressure hose and long-handled scrub brush using a variety of chemical cleaning agents (i.e. bleach) in accordance to USDA standards
• Follow all safety and quality procedures
• Work in compliance with all company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations
• All other duties as assigned
  
  

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
  
  

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

• Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours
• Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character
  
  

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:

• Follow departmental and company safety policies and programs
• Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times in areas where required.
  
  

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours
• Ability to work in a wet and cold environment (45ºF, 4ºC)
• Ability to stand for an 8 hour shift
• Will be exposed to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production
