Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in welding and fabrication processes, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. Responsibilities
- Perform Mig welding and truck upfits including electrical components, hydraulic components and body installation
- Fabricate components according to specifications
- Operate machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters for shaping and cutting materials.
- Conduct machining operations as required for project completion.
- Utilize forklifts safely for material handling within the workshop.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining high-quality standards.
Requirements
- Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
- Familiarity with operating press brake machines, plasma cutting equipment, and other fabrication tools.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues that arise during fabrication processes.
