Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble drink items efficiently while maintaining high quality and presentation standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and swiftly
- Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries with enthusiasm
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance sales and maximize revenue opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food prep zones in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service within quick service or fast food restaurants is preferred but not neccessary.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service with a friendly and energetic demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order processing
- Experience working in a café, retail grocery store, or similar food industry setting is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
