Building Maintenance Technician - CNG/piping Experience

Wayne Perry is growing! We are looking for an experienced Commercial Building Maintenance Technician with experience in Electrical/Lighting and Plumbing Maintenance to join our Southern California team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Help with installing and maintaining high-pressure natural gas systems (CNG)
• Maintenance on compressors
• All commercial plumbing including installation of new toilets and urinals, P-traps, faucet installs, auto flush sensors, leaks, snakes, etc.
• Water Heater Replacements – sweat copper, PVC, pipe work in general. Electrical work.
• Troubleshooting and repair of all lighting fixtures and systems. Including LED, fluorescent, lighting ballasts, drivers, contactors, breakers and circuit wiring.
• Lock repairs, replacing handles, door locks, magnetic locks, doors, etc.
• All building maintenance including tile, framing, painting, stucco, dry wall, etc.
• Minor repairs to fencing
• Concrete removal which includes pouring and finishing
• General maintenance work including, but not limited to cleaning drains, install blinds, concrete, asphalt patch, etc.
• Will use company laptop and software for time keeping, job dispatching, logging and uploading invoices/receipts, filling out work orders electronically and upload to job.
• Driving to different stations/job sites every day required
• Overtime and on-call required
• Work long hours and some nights as needed

Experience and Education:

• Facilities/Building Maintenance experience required
• CNG/piping experience
• Knowledge of Hand/Power Tools
• Must be proficient Microsoft outlook for email

Skills and Abilities:

• Good customer service skills - will have contact with store employees and station managers
• Good written and verbal skills
• Effective and efficient communication
• On the spot problem solver

Physical Requirements:

• Drive for 2 hours/day
• Lift up to 50lbs
• Constant bending, kneeling
• Standing for long periods of time (8 hours)

Pay rate: $23.00 - $28.00 based on experience and certifications held.
