Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in painting, cleaning and home repair with the ability to fill out work orders and manage various maintenance tasks. This role requires a proactive approach to turning a vacant unit to lease up status in a timely manner while maintaining equipment, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
Responsibilities
- Paint, clean and repair vacant units.
- Fill out work orders and return work orders in a timely manner.
- Ability to multi-task in a changing environment.
- Manage and work from a list of revolving unit vacancies.
- Collaborate with team members to implement effective maintenance strategies to turn around units.
- Work with a team during maintenance projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience in home repairs, painting, cleaning and/or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with residential maintenance practices.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities in managing small teams or projects.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude while working under pressure.
- Candidates with experience in residential maintenance or advanced troubleshooting will be highly regarded.
- Must pass drug screening.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
