Job Description
Temporary position; April - July. Candidate will operate operates MRI equipment and performs MRI procedures in accordance with established professional and departmental standards and procedures.
Job Requirements
- Successful completion of Registry examination in MRI required;
- One year MRI experience preferred;
- Certified in basic life support;
- Ability to work independently with minimal clinical supervision; excellent interpersonal skills required;
Physical Standards:
Constantly: (Exists 75% or more of the time) Standing; walking; operating machinery; exposure to radiation, chemical hazards, infect hazards; bending and lifting.
Frequently: (Exists 25-75% of the time) Reaching (overhead, forward, lateral, low); stooping (bend at waist); crouching (bend at knees); kneeling; twisting; balance; lifting and carrying 0 - >100 lbs. (help is available for 75 - >100 lbs.); pushing and pulling 5 - 75 lbs.; exposure to moving machinery, fumes
Occasionally: (Exists 5- 25% of the time) Pushing and pulling 40 - > 100 lbs. (help is available);
Rarely: (Exists < 5% of the time) Sitting (w/back support); climbing; operating motor vehicles; exposure to slippery surfaces.
Sensory Requirements Visual: close paperwork, VDT used, color vision required; Hearing: conversation, monitoring equipment, telephone, background noise; sensory discrimination.
