This Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) provider role offers primary care at our Veterans Affairs (VA) health clinic, leading multi-disciplinary teams, diagnosing and treating both chronic and acute conditions, and delivering care in a rural setting.

Minimum Qualifications: |
- Maintain, in good standing, an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Maintain an unrestricted Federal Drug Enforcement Agency license.
- Remain in good standing as a member of the Medical Staff of Hospital.
- Abide by the ethics of the medical profession and all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations.
- Knowledge of professional medical theory, practice, and medical care to give and evaluate patient care.
- Knowledge of organizational policies, regulations and procedures to administer patient care.
- Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care.
- Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
- Skill in applying and modifying the principles, methods, and techniques as a professional health care provider; in taking medical history to assess medical condition and interpret findings.
- Skill in preparing and maintaining records, writing reports, and responding to correspondence.
- Skill in developing and maintaining department quality assurance, in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.
- Ability to maintain quality control standards and ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures and to communicate clearly.
