Description
WMCH has an entry level position available in out Pike Dental Center as a Dental Assistant Trainee. Candidate will be required to complete the Dental Assistant Training Program through University of Pitt Dental School. Requirements also include obtaining the Radiation Health and Safety (RHS) Certificate. Candidates while completing this DA Program will be required to perform duties of a Sterilization Assistant which are the following: decontamination, cleaning, preparing, and sterilizing procedures. Coordinates the clinical supplies and equipment maintenance. Provides chair-side assistance to the dentist in the examination and treatment of patients. Qualifications
Sterilization Assistant must be a High School graduate or equivalent. Current CPR certificate is required. Must have the ability to work well with children. Must be self-motivated and organized.
