WAYNE MAZDA Brand New State of the Art Dealership has an Awesome Coffee and Pastry Cafe!
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team Part Time.
As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while delivering exceptional service. If you have a love for coffee and enjoy interacting with people, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
1. Preparing Coffee and Other Beverages:
· Brew and serve a variety of coffee beverages such as espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, and cold brews.
· Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment with efficiency and accuracy.
2. Customer Service:
· Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
· Take customer orders and provide recommendations to best fit the customers’ preferences.
· Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with a positive attitude.
3. Maintaining Cleanliness:
· Clean and maintain the coffee bar area, including countertops, machines, and utensils.
· Follow sanitation standards and ensure the workspace is always tidy and organized.
· Inspect lounge areas for any messes or leftover trash.
· Keep storage areas tidy and organized.
4. Inventory Management:
· Monitor coffee bean, milk, syrup, and other ingredient levels, and restock supplies when necessary.
· Ensure products are stored properly and comply with expiration dates.
· Track daily usage and waste of products used including bakery items.
5. Opening and Closing Duties:
· Set up the coffee bar at the beginning of the day, ensuring everything is ready for service at opening time.
· Close the coffee bar at the end of the day, properly cleaning and securing equipment.
6. Collaborating with Team Members:
· Work with fellow baristas to provide smooth and efficient service.
· Communicate effectively with team members to ensure customer orders are completed correctly.
