Duties
- Review customer orders and labels for quality assembly.
- Assist with the assembly line by preparing foam components for furniture production, ensuring proper placement and fit.
- Use hand tools to cut, shape, or modify foam pieces according to specifications.
- Conduct quality checks on foam materials for defects or inconsistencies before assembly.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Hourly training pay per hour and moves to production pay with opportunities to make more money. Will train the right candidate.
Skills
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in foam handling and furniture cushion assembly/fabrication.
- Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to work with attention to detail and speed. Quality is upmost importance.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new techniques.
