What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inpatient Dept - Med/Surg Tele RN- Full Time - First Shift position at Wayne Hospital Company?
This position is a Med/Surg position, working varied 12-hour shifts for 36 hours per week and a every other weekend rotation. The applicant may be cross-trained to other departments within the facility so they are able to float to the units. This position is under the direction and supervision of the Director of In-Patient Services.
Qualifications:
- Currently licensed to practice in the State of Ohio
- BSN preferred
- Current BLS Certification required
- Previous Med/Surg experience preferred
- Critical care experience preferred
Skill and Ability:
- Interpersonal and analytical skills necessary to function under the current standards of nursing practices
- Physically able to perform the functions of the position
- ACLS certification required within 6 months to one year of hire
- Maintains all required qualifications for area assigned
- Cardiac Arrhythmia Interpretation course required within one year of hire
- Chemo/PICC lines experience preferred but not required
- All other duties as assigned
