What are the responsibilities and job description for the Emergency Dept - RN - Full-Time - 3rd Shift *Sign on Bonus position at Wayne Hospital Company?
Position:
This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. This position is working 36 hours per week and required to work every other weekend and holiday requirements. The applicant could be cross-trained to other departments within the facility. The position reports to the Director of Emergency Services. Eligible for Sign On Bonus.
Qualifications:
- Currently licensed to practice in the State of Ohio
- BSN preferred
- Current BLS Certification required
- Previous critical care experience preferred
- ACLS and PALS certification preferred
- 3 to 5 years of Emergency Room experience
Skill and Ability:
- Interpersonal and analytical skills necessary to function under the current standards of nursing practices
- Physically able to perform the functions of the position
- ACLS certification required within six months of transition/hire
- PALS certification required within one year of transition/hire
- Hazmat training required
- TNCC certification encouraged
- Cardiac arrhythmia interpretation course required within six months
- Maintains all required qualifications for area assigned
- All other duties as assigned
Salary : $33 - $48
