Job Description:
This role involves providing support to students with special needs in an educational setting. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and meet the highly qualified paraprofessional standards. They should be able to demonstrate interest in children and education, as well as experience in assisting students with multiple challenges.
The successful candidate will follow behavior plans and student needs as directed, assist students with daily living activities, and provide instructional activities under the supervision of the teacher. They will also accompany students to all school settings as assigned and keep accurate records as required.
The position requires excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to perform other duties as assigned by the teacher and principal. The work year is student days only, and the compensation is $16.30 per hour.
