What You'll Do
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll have the opportunity to make a direct difference in the lives of the residents you serve. Responsibilities include:
- Evaluate residents with communication, cognitive and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized plans of care based on clinical findings and resident goals
- Provide skilled, medically necessary speech therapy interventions
- Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
- Educate and support residents, families, caregivers and interdisciplinary team members
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy and other departments to support resident outcomes
- Complete required clinical documentation and discharge summaries in accordance with regulatory and professional standards

- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of Nebraska
