Commercial Loan Team Leader Wayne/Pike Counties
Salary Grade: Manager V
Location: Honesdale Main Street
Duties: Leads a team of commercial lenders within a designated market and is responsible for increasing Bank profitability through growth in commercial relationships, exceptional client service, and effective team leadership. Develops and executes commercial strategy for the assigned market. Provides coaching, mentorship, and professional development to commercial lenders to achieve established individual and team goals. Participates in client and prospect meetings, develops new commercial relationships, expands existing relationships, and promotes collaboration across Bank business lines. Ensures lending activities comply with established Bank policies, credit standards, and regulatory requirements while maintaining an appropriate awareness of credit quality and potential credit risks.
Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor. Demonstrated leadership, coaching, mentoring, and team-building abilities. Proven success in commercial business development, client relationship management, and achieving established lending goals. Strong knowledge of CRE and C&I lending, credit analysis, loan structuring, underwriting, and financial analysis. Ability to develop and execute market strategies and maintain effective relationships internally and externally.
Experience: A minimum of ten (10) years of commercial lending experience, including CRE and C&I lending, required. Agricultural lending experience strongly preferred. Significant experience in client relationship management, sales/business development, team building, and supervision required.
Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent work experience required. MBA preferred.
