A century-old, family-owned Western New York manufacturer is hiring an Inside Sales Representative to join a close-knit team. This is a company where more than half the staff has been here five-plus years — because it's genuinely a good place to work!
What you'll do:
- Handle inbound customer calls and emails — pricing, delivery times, product information
- Enter orders and manage purchasing
- Maintain CRM and product database records
- Provide technical guidance on products and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Work directly with the shop team to solve problems and build relationships
- Contribute to team-based sales goals
What you'll bring:
- The ability to stay calm and solve problems with a frustrated customer on the phone
- Basic mechanical curiosity — you don't need to be an engineer, but you should be comfortable around industrial equipment
- Comfort with Outlook, Word, Excel, and CRM systems
- Bonus (not required): a college degree, or prior exposure to pumps or industrial equipment
Compensation & benefits: $40,000–$45,000 base salary. This role includes team-based commission with no cap — paid monthly, split across the sales team — plus a quarterly bonus tied to performance.
Realistic year-one total earnings, including commission, run around $55,000-$60,000 .
