Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Resident Services Supervisor with strong knowledge of Florida Assisted Living Facility (ALF) regulations. This leadership role oversees resident care delivery, service coordination, regulatory compliance, and daily operations related to resident health, wellness, and satisfaction.
The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, detail-oriented, and comfortable supervising care staff to ensure high-quality services and regulatory adherence.
Key Responsibilities
Resident Care & Compliance
- Ensure all care and services are delivered in accordance with Florida ALF guidelines and facility policies.
- Monitor resident service plans, assessments, care needs, and documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Assist with resident move-ins, updates, incident reports, and change-of-condition procedures as required by state regulations.
- Maintain compliance with residents’ rights, infection control standards, medication management policies, and emergency procedures.
Leadership & Staff Supervision
- Supervise, coach, and support Care Managers, Med Techs, and related staff.
- Ensure staff follow care protocols, charting accuracy, service plan tasks, and shift expectations.
- Assist with training, onboarding, and competency validation as required by ALF rules.
- Participate in scheduling and staffing to ensure appropriate coverage.
Resident & Family Support
- Serve as the point of contact for resident and family concerns, ensuring timely communication and follow-up.
- Support resident engagement, service coordination, and quality-of-life initiatives.
Operational Duties
- Participate in audits, QA checks, and state survey readiness activities.
- Maintain accurate resident records, logs, and regulatory documents.
- Partner with the Executive Director and leadership team to support smooth operations and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an Assisted Living Facility or similar senior living environment.
- Strong understanding of Florida ALF regulations (Resident Care Standards, Documentation, Assessments, Service Plans, Incident Reporting, ECC/LMH guidelines if applicable).
- Prior experience in a supervisory or lead caregiving role required.
- Ability to manage staff, solve problems, and multitask in a fast-paced setting.
- Exceptional communication, follow-through, and organizational skills.
- CPR/First Aid and CNA/HHA certification preferred (or ALF-approved equivalent).
- Strong working knowledge of EMR systems (PCC experience a plus).
Shift & Schedule
- Full-time, primarily day shift, with flexibility to support evenings, weekends, or emergencies based on operational needs.
Pay: $21.00 per hour
