Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems using schematics, wiring diagrams, and tools such as ohmmeters.
- Conduct HVAC system repairs and maintenance to ensure optimal climate control performance.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to complete repairs and upgrades around the facility.
- Maintain facilities equipment including plumbing systems, electrical panels, lighting fixtures, and building interior elements such as walls and ceilings through painting or carpentry work.
- Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities and document all repairs accurately.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management to resolve issues efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Proven experience in maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) within a commercial or residential environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in plumbing system maintenance, electrical work, HVAC systems, and building interior upkeep.
- Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams effectively.
- Proficiency with hand tools, electrical equipment repair tools including ohmmeters, and specialized maintenance tools.
- Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of welding techniques and experience with HVAC system repair is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration.
- Ability to lead or assist in small maintenance projects with a focus on safety and quality standards.
