Daycare / Preschool Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher with experience working in an infant, toddler or preschool room. This teacher will need knowledge of planning and implementing curriculum, keeping children engaged, rotation of toys and activities along w good parent communication and keeping classroom clean,safe and organized! Pay will be based on experience and raises depending on performance.

The ideal candidate will have experience in childcare or education settings, particularly with infants, toddlers and preschoolers. This role is essential in fostering the growth and development of young learners while ensuring their safety and well-being.

Duties

• Provide care and supervision for toddlers, infants, and preschool age ensuring their safety at all times.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
• Engage with students to promote social skills, emotional development, and positive behavior.
• Monitor student progress and report any concerns to the lead teacher.
• Participate in classroom management to ensure a productive learning atmosphere.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience.

Requirements

• Experience working with students in an educational or childcare setting is required!!!!!!
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
• Ability to manage classroom dynamics and maintain a positive environment.
• A passion for educating young children and supporting their growth.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Certification or training in childcare or early childhood education is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Must be willing to get your Deec family childcare licence
