Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Therapist to join our dynamic mental health team. Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including intake interviews and diagnostic evaluations using ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
• Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions utilizing therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA)
• Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to support clients experiencing acute mental health episodes or emergencies
• Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating social work principles, behavior management techniques, and addiction counseling when appropriate
• Maintain detailed medical records and documentation compliant with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of medical terminology and records
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on inpatient and outpatient cases, including working with children with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), geriatrics, or patients with PTSD or chronic pain
• Engage in clinical research initiatives to advance therapeutic practices and improve patient outcomes through data collection and analysis
• Provide telehealth services to expand access to care for diverse populations across different settings

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field from an accredited institution
• Valid licensure or certification as a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), licensed professional counselor (LPC), psychologist, or equivalent credential in the applicable jurisdiction
• Proven experience in psychotherapy techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, grief counseling, addiction counseling, and gender issues counseling
• Experience working with children, adolescents, adults with disabilities, or geriatric populations preferred
• Strong skills in crisis intervention, crisis management, behavior management, and case management strategies
• Familiarity with ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems for diagnostic evaluation and medical documentation standards
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to patient care and medical records confidentiality
• Excellent communication skills for intake assessments, patient education, and collaboration with healthcare teams
• Telehealth experience is highly desirable to support flexible service delivery across various settings

Pay: $60,376.69 - $72,711.71 per year
