The Studio Team Leader will work closely with studio ownership to ensure service standards are maintained, employees are supported, and business goals are achieved.
Essential Functions
The Studio Team Leader is responsible for balancing hands-on waxing services with leadership and operational responsibilities. This position serves as a key connection between studio ownership, employees, and clients.
The Studio Team Leader is accountable for maintaining exceptional service standards, supporting employee performance, assisting with business growth, and ensuring the studio operates efficiently. This individual must demonstrate strong leadership, professionalism, teamwork, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

- Provide exceptional waxing services while maintaining Waxing the City's service and sanitation standards.
- Lead, motivate, coach, and support Cerologists™
- Assist with daily studio operations, employee scheduling, and team development.
- Build strong client relationships focused on client acquisition, satisfaction, and retention.
- Educate clients on waxing services, retail products, and Club Orange Loyalty Program benefits.
- Support inventory management, studio cleanliness, and equipment maintenance.
- Assist with local marketing, social media, community engagement, and promotional initiatives.
- Support studio sales goals, membership growth, and overall business performance.
- Conduct team huddles, provide feedback, and encourage a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Georgia State Board regulations and Waxing the City standards.

- Current Georgia Esthetician or Cosmetologist license.
- Passion for waxing and the beauty industry.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.

- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing business needs.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented.
- Willingness to complete Waxing the City's required training and certification.
- 2 years of professional waxing or beauty industry experience.
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or salon management experience.
- Experience training, coaching, or mentoring team members.
- Knowledge of retail sales, client retention, and studio operations.
