Kennel Technician and Doggie Daycare Attendant

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Kennel Technician and Doggie Daycare Attendant to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional animal care, ensuring the safety and well-being of our canine guests, and supporting daily operations within our pet care facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Feed and bathe dogs according to their individual needs and schedules
• Monitor dogs during playtime in the daycare area, ensuring safe interactions and handling any behavioral issues
• Clean kennels, cages, and common areas to maintain a sanitary environment
• Help Vet Techs Restrain animals safely during examinations or procedures
• Handle pet intake and discharge procedures with professionalism and care
• Educate pet owners about proper pet care and answer questions regarding their pets’ needs
• Maintain detailed records of animal health, behavior, and daily activities requirements letting Doctors and Vet Techs know if there are any issues
• Knowledge of dog training, pet grooming, or veterinary technician experience is a plus
• Strong animal handling skills with the ability to restrain animals safely and humanely
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the shift
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Flexibility to work weekends or holidays if needed
• Passion for animals with a genuine desire to provide compassionate care and support for pets and their owners

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
