Role Description
The Golf Course Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing various daily tasks to ensure the upkeep and presentation of the golf course and facilities. Duties include mowing, trimming, and maintaining greens, fairways, and bunkers; setting up and inspecting golf course equipment; and supporting irrigation systems' maintenance and repair. This is a full-time, on-site role located at Waxahachie Golf Club in Waxahachie, TX. Additional responsibilities include ensuring a safe environment and interacting with members and guests to provide excellent service.
Qualifications
- Understanding of golf course maintenance and handling golf equipment
- Basic knowledge of irrigation systems and their maintenance practices
- Strong communication and customer service skills to assist team members and address guest needs
- Attention to detail and ability to work effectively in an outdoor environment
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Prior experience in golf course or landscaping jobs is a plus
